Lillypops and Frocks

I love having brothers and sisters, because they're good companions, teach so much, and they also make me laugh.
Here's some of the funny/sweet things they do:

Jacob says words the cutest ways sometimes. He calls a spoonful of peanut butter a licky spoon (cause he likes to lick it), lollipops are lillypops, and pianos are campanos. And when he's mad at someone, sometimes he'll wrinkle up his nose and say, " That was a very not nice!"
It's always so funny when he does that!
Some of us have Crocs (most of them not the real Croc brand though), and just about all the children call them "frocks".
A few days ago, Anna called them Frocks and I said, "They're not Frocks, they're Clocks! I mean....Crocs!" Later, I heard Anna calling them "Crops". Oh well. :)

I like to call Anna Miss Quack when she wears the yellow ones cause they look like duck feet! ;)

modest swimsuits

We recently received a swimsuit pattern from Fashionably Modest Patterns! I'm really excited to see how they turn out! Momma made a exercise skirt from the pattern, and she had lengthen it some, so I'll probably do the same for my swimsuit.
A few other places to get modest swim suits are:

Wholesome wear,

Simply modest swimwear,
(Here's a picture from their site)

Aqua Modesta,

and Stitchin' Times are good places to look.
If you can find cheap swimsuit fabric though (like on Ebay), then it would probably save some money, if you sew. I love Simply Modest Swimwear, but they're pretty expensive! I've gotten swimsuits from both Simply Modest Swimwear and Wholesome wear before, and the one from Simply Modest Swimwear seemed to last longer (or maybe I should have washed the other one by hand?). Anyway, I love them both! Does anyone know of other great modest swimsuit sites?

Mary's Birthday Party

The other day, Esther's doll, Mary, had a birthday party. Esther decorated her room, dressed up, and made invitations and handed them out. The birthday girl

The meal consisted of delicious looking plastic food (two donuts, a cinnamon roll and Oreo cookies!), with tea.I think it was smart of her to use the dining room table from Lydia's doll house as a cookie stand. Jacob thoroughly enjoying himself

After the snack they played some games, but I have no idea what they did, because I didn't stay for the whole party. I just dropped my dolls off and popped in to take pictures. :)

Isn't he so cute?! I kind of wish he would just stay three. I'm starting to miss having a baby around. They grow up too fast! *sniffles*

P.S. Speaking of growing up, Lydia has not one, but TWO loose teeth!

Second-Hand Fashion week: Days 5 and 6

I didn't post yesterday, because we went to church that night and got home late (and during the day I just wore whatever). So, here's what I wore to church:

Dress: From Land's End (not second hand).

Sweater: Silx by August Silks, from the thrift store.

Shoes: Montego Bay Club, from my cousin.
And I borrowed a pair of earrings from Mommy. :)

Day 6:

Shirt: I think it came from the thrift store (no tag).

Vest: J. Crew, from the thrift store.

Skirt: from Chadwick's (not second-hand).

Shoes: Earth spirit, from my cousin.

Second-Hand Fashion Week has been fun, and I'm so glad Amanda Beth decided to do it!

Second-Hand Fashion Week: Day 4

Shirt: Charlotte Russe (a hand-me-down).

Skirt: It isn't actually a hand-me-down, I made it.

Jacket: Refuge, from a yard sale. I probably wouldn't need the jacket 87 degree weather though. ;)

Boots: From Wanted. These aren't second-hand either. :( I got them as a thank-you for babysitting.
