His Eye is on The Sparrow

The children found this little fellow outside one day. We think he probably froze during the night.

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Matthew 10:29-31

A super easy way to have a new skirt

Simply take a knit girls' dress like this one,
Cut about two inches above the skirt of the dress, and wear it!  It isn't even necessary to hem it, since knit doesn't unravel very much. :)

Livvy at A Daughter's Heart is hosting a January Feelin' Feminine challenge so I've decided to join. I don't normally wear pants, but I enjoy looking at other peoples' modest and feminine outfits. I also enjoy spending extra time contemplating my own. :)

        So, here's Sunday:
The skirt: Lands End   the sweater:  Merona

And Monday:

sweater: Next Era  shirt: Banana Republic

skirt: Chadwicks

I know that posts have not been very regular or often, but I'm going to be organizing some thing so (Lord willing)  that will change soon!

                Goodbye until tomorrow!

P.S.  I wasn't wearing any shoes, so that why they're not listed. :)

One of My Favorite Teachers

Lately, Daddy and I have been watching The History of the World Mega -Conference. It's interesting, and I've been enjoying it (history is definitely my favorite subject!).
Over the holidays he had a short break from work, which we all loved, and he was able to teach us a lot more when he was home all day.

Of course he had to go back.
                         *sniffle*

I suppose money still doesn't grow on trees. ;)

Something to Remember In 2011...

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
                                          Philippians 3:13-14

Happy New Year!
