Before we opened the presents, Daddy read the Christmas story to us, and we got to put baby Jesus in the manger scene (he's was hidden away until Christmas).

Christmas Movies

Here's some of the Christmas movies that we've been watching!

This is the story of a Bishop (David Niven) that wants to build a cathedral, and, because he prays for help, an angel named Dudley (Cary Grant) shows up to help him. We really enjoyed this one, although I'm not saying that I believe angels can do every thing displayed in this film. I'd say it's still worth watching though. :) Released in 1947; 109 minutes long

We stayed out for an hour, and, unlike previous years, it wasn't cold at all.
Daddy made sure to use the sheet with clouds, moons and suns all over it to cover the ladder our Angel was standing on.

Getting Ready For Nativity

Every year our family goes outside and does a living nativity. Right now, were getting ready to go out, and almost everyone has their costumes on. I've got to go.....

Frost

This leaf that Anna and I got out walking one morning was supposed to have frost on it, but by the time we got home it melted :(. I guess I'll just have to take my camera with me one day and take lots of pictures of frost, and spiderwebs, the sky, and maybe even our breath ( its getting pretty cold outside!).

Yes, cold enough to wear gloves early in the morning!

Christmas lights

Earlier, we went driving around neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights!
Before we left, I made some Pigs in a Blanket (little sausages wrapped in crescent rolls), then after Mommy got home from grocery shopping, we got ready to go, fixed drinks, grabbed the chip box, and headed out the door.
It was really fun to see all the decorations, and listen to Christmas music on the radio. Some houses had a LOT of stuff in their front yards, and it was interesting to look at, but like the plainer ones better. :)

We haven't put out our Christmas decorations yet, but Daddy will probably put up the wreaths soon.

Jacob said the funniest thing today! instead of saying "piano" he said "campano"!!!
lol! I know it doesn't have anything to do with the title, I thought y'all would think it was funny. :)
