I used a tutorial from Ruffles and Stuff to make this dress:
I didn't follow it exactly, but it turned out about the same. I got the fabric cheap at JoAnn's a while back in their clearance section, and really didn't know for sure what I was going to do with it (I like having a fabric stash though!). Last week, I decided to make the Lemonade dress with it, and used a blue t-shirt with a bleached out spot near the hem as the top of the dress. The hardest part for me was getting the skirt to match up with the shirt, but it turned out alright in the end.I wanted the waist to come a little higher than the one in the tutorial (and that spot was there), so I cut off the bottom of the shirt and used it to make the flower. :) I'm thinking about putting a few more around the neck. What do you think?

Wow! Great job! It's very pretty.
I love the dress, it looks like you are a good seamstress! Having a stash of material is something I perfectly agree with. There's always a scrap for the rainy days. :)
